About subscription packs
A subscription pack is a group of JetBrains product subscriptions that renew together. It’s a simple way for organizations to manage multiple subscriptions.
All subscriptions in a pack share the same billing cycle, payment method, and usually the same renewal date. If the dates don’t match, they can be aligned through a process called co-terming.
You can group all of your organization’s subscriptions into one pack or split them across several packs, depending on what works best for you.

How subscription packs are created
You can set up a subscription pack at checkout when you’re buying new subscriptions, or later in your JetBrains Account.
Create a subscription pack at checkout
The first time you buy licenses for your organization, they’ll automatically be added to a new subscription pack during checkout.
Later on, if you buy more subscriptions, you can either add them to the same pack or start a new one to manage and renew them separately.
Create a subscription pack in your JetBrains Account
You can create a new pack when moving subscriptions between packs.
View your subscription packs
You need org admin or primary billing contact permissions to use this feature. If your organization has no admin, contact us. |
To view your organization’s subscription packs:
- Log in to your JetBrains Account.
- In the menu on the left, click on your organization’s name.
- In the menu that appears, select Subscription Packs.
When you open the Subscription Packs page, you’ll see a chart showing all of your upcoming payment dates. Right below it, you’ll find your organization’s subscription packs, including their IDs, billing cycles, and payment dates.
How a subscription pack’s payment date is determined
A subscription pack’s payment date is set to the renewal date of the earliest expiring subscription.
When you add a subscription to the pack, the payment date is recalculated. If the new subscription is set to renew earlier, the payment date updates accordingly. If it renews later, the pack’s payment date stays the same.
On the payment date, all subscriptions are co-termed, with the cost for each adjusted based on how much time you’re paying for.
When to create multiple subscription packs
All subscriptions in a pack renew together. If your organization’s licenses are tied to different departments or cost centers and you want separate renewal schedules or payment methods, it’s best to create multiple subscription packs.
You can split your subscriptions between existing packs or move them to new packs.
How to renew a subscription pack
We’ll send you payment reminders as the expiration date gets closer. To renew, click the link in the reminder and pay online or request a quote.
To make it even easier, you can set up automatic renewals. You can also renew at any time through your JetBrains Account.
What happens when you cancel a subscription in a pack
When you cancel a subscription, it’s removed from the pack and excluded from payment reminders.
To resume payments, you need to move the canceled subscription to an active subscription pack.
